Task 1 - Part 4:
1. A time when you help someone
A time when I help someone was last week. helped my friend with her homework. She was struggling with some math problems, so I explained the steps to her and worked through the questions together. It was in the math lesson and the teacher was out when she couldn’t find any way to solve the question. When the teacher was back, she gave the teacher the correct answer. She was very thankful, and it made me feel proud to help her understand better.
2. How do you feel when you have a chance to help people
I feel happy and satisfied when I help someone. It’s a good feeling to know that I’ve made their day easier or better. Helping others also makes me feel more connected to them and gives me a sense of good virtue or purpose.
3. Why don't some people ask for help
Some people don’t ask for help because they feel shy or embarrassed. They might think it shows weakness or that they’re bothering others. Others may feel that they should solve problems on their own to prove their independence.
Task 2 - Part 4:
1. A time you see someone impolite to you?
A time I saw someone impolite was last week. I was at a café, and someone cut in front of me in line. I felt upset / sad because it was rude and unfair. I didn’t say anything, but I felt disrespected. Finally, I counted as nothing happened and I still got my favorite dish and orange juice.
2. How did you feel when someone is impolite to you?
When someone is impolite to me, I feel bad and uncomfortable. It makes me feel disrespected, especially when the person doesn’t apologize or seem aware of their behavior.
3. Some people say technology changes the way we behave towards each other. What do you think?
I think technology does change in both good and bad way. It makes it easier to talk to people, but sometimes it can also make us less polite. For example, online communication can feel less personal, and people may not be as careful with their words. However, it also helps us stay connected and share ideas with others.
Task 3 - Part 4:
1. Tell a time when you went to an amusement park?
Last summer, I went to Dam Sen amusement park with my family because I had just finished my third trimester at university, and we wanted to visit a tourist spot in Ho Chi Minh City. We tried many rides, like the Ferris wheel and bumper cars, and enjoyed some tasty snacks. I love the roller coaster best – it was fun and made everyone laugh. We spent the whole day there and had so much fun.
2. What do yu feel at that time?
I felt really excited and happy because the park had so much energy, and everyone was having fun. I also felt closer to my family because we shared many fun moments
3. Rides at amusement park are quite scary. Why do people like being scary this way?
There are some reasons why people like being scared that way. First, it is because it’s exciting and makes them feel like having a different experience. Second, it’s fun to scream and laugh with friends or family. The excitement makes the experience unforgettable.
Task 4 - Part 4:
1. Describe a time when you learn something new.
A time when I learned something new was when I baked a cake for the first time. I decided to follow a simple recipe and carefully measured all the ingredients. At first, it was tricky to mix everything properly, but I kept going. Finally, when I saw the finished cake, I felt proud because it turned out delicious.
2. How do you feel when you learn something new?
When I learn something new, I feel excited because it’s a chance to improve myself. For example, I enjoy the challenge of trying something different, and when I succeed, it makes me feel proud and motivated to keep learning a new one.
3. It is never too old to learn new things? Do you agree or disagree? What do you think?
I agree that it’s never too old to learn new things. This is because people at any age all can learn if the knowledge is suitable for them. Even older people can find joy and meaning by discovering something new, like learning a language or picking up a new hobby.
Task 5 - Part 4:
1. When was the last time some one helped you?
A time someone helped me was last week when my friend helped me carry my groceries home. I had too many bags, and it was hard to manage. My friend saw me struggling and offered to help. He was my classmate. He also bought something in the store when he saw me. Finally, I felt really thankful and happy because it made my day easier.
2. How do you feel?
When someone helps me, I feel grateful because it shows they care about me. I also feel happy knowing I am not alone, and people are willing to support me.
3. How to encourage people to cooperate?
To encourage people to cooperate, first, I would create a friendly and respectful environment so they feel comfortable sharing ideas. Finally, I can reward teamwork by showing appreciation or giving praise for their efforts.
