SPEAKING PART 3

TASK 1
1. Tell me what you see in the two pictures.
In the first picture I can see some people are working on a field. They are cutting the plants/rice by hand. They are farmers. They are wearing wide hats and thick clothing to avoid the sun.
In the second picture, there is/(there are) a big machine cutting the plants. I think/guess this is an example of modern day farming.
I think 2 pictures are described the same work but different ways of tradition and modern to cut plants/harvest the plants/rice.
2. What would it be like to work on these two farms?
In this first farm it would be difficult to work there. The farmers are working by hand, so it would take a long time to complete the work. It would also be hard because the farmers are always bending over so they would get a lot of back pain.
In the second farm it would be easy to work there. The farmer uses a machine so it would be faster. It would also be good for making more money.
3. Which method of farming is better for the community?
I think/believe the second method of farming is better for the community. It takes a short time, they don’t need many employees and it is easier for their bodies.

TASK 2

1. Describe 2 pictures

(chung chung) Overall, both are pictures of people doing the gardening. (từng hình) In the first picture, I can see a group of people working in a vegetable garden. A woman is kneeling and collecting the vegetables. A man behind is holding something like a tablet. The vegetables are very green and ready to pick. In the second picture, a man and a child are in a flower garden. The man is helping the child to water the flowers. (cảm nghĩ). They are really enjoying their work when laughing together. I love both pictures as they are lovely.

2. What are the differences between the two gardens?

There are some differences between the 2 gardens that I can tell. First, the first picture shows how people grow vegetables which seems more practical and involves teamwork. Whilst, the second picture shows a sense of family and looks more decorative. Second, the atmosphere (ko khí) in the second picture is more playful than the first one.

3. What is the appeal (sự thu hút) of growing( trồng) flowers and vegetables?

The appeal of growing flowers and vegetables is that it can give fresh, healthy food and save money. It also feels nice when people pick their own vegetables. Also, growing flowers is beautiful and relaxing. It makes the place look nice and can bring happiness and calm when walking around a flower garden.

TASK 3

- Overall, the 2 pictures show me the ways people find somewhere to unwind/relax. In the first picture, I can see many people at the beach enjoying the seaside and the blue cool water. There are groups of people, like herds of friends or families all coming to the beach and relaxing under the shadow of sunshades. Whilst, in the second picture, I can see the back of a girl alone. She is looking over a lake, where farther there are high mountains. She seems to be thinking over something when watching the calm water. I love both pictures because they are so beautiful.

- What is the attraction?

Visiting two places has some attractions. At the beach, there’s a lively and energetic atmosphere. People can swim, play in the sand, and relax in the sun. At a lake, it’s peaceful and quiet. It’s a great place to relax, think about life, and connect with nature after a busy day of work or study.

- What are the benefits of relaxing alone?

There are some benefits. First, it helps you relax and think clearly. You can do things you enjoy without any distractions. Second, it gives you a chance to recharge and feel refreshed. Finally, being alone allows you to think about your goals and plan for the future.

TASK 4

Compare 2 pictures: Overall, both pictures show me that people are playing sports. In the first picture, I can see that two men in the wheelchairs are playing a sport inside a sports hall. The environment is controlled with 4 walls. In the second picture, a woman is playing tennis outdoors on a bright sunny day. Regarding the difference, while the first picture is about indoor activities, the second one is about outdoor activities. I love both pictures because they are so beautiful.

There are some differences between playing indoor and outdoor. Playing indoors is usually when you play inside your house or a building. You less depend on the weather condition to play games. Whilst, playing outdoors, like tennis, depends on the weather. You get fresh air and enjoy nature, but sometimes it’s too hot or rainy.

To me, I partly agree with this statement. This is because winning is important, but playing is also about having fun and staying healthy. If you don’t win, you can still enjoy the game and improve your skills to be better.

TASK 5.

1. Overall, these are pictures of people traveling on different transports. In the first picture I can see a family in a car. They look happy and are checking a map. The second picture shows two women on a train. They are sitting and listening to music with headphones. Regarding the difference, while the first picture is about private transport, the second picture is about public transport. Both pictures are lovely and I love them.

2. Traveling by car is more private and flexible. You can stop whenever you want. Traveling by train is more relaxing because you don’t have to drive, and you can enjoy the view.

3. People enjoy trains because they are comfortable and you can do other things, like reading or talking. Also, you don’t have to worry about traffic.
